Just six weeks before the end of WW2, the RAF carried out a mission to bomb the Gestapo Headquarters in Copenhagen, which was situated in the Shell-building. By a tragic mistake they bombed a girls’ school run by Catholic nuns, the French School on Frederiksberg Allé. The documentary is a moving memory told by older women, who as children survived the bombardment of the French School. It is an account of the way in which high politics suddenly and unexpectedly interfere with and affect the rest of their lives. The documentary includes unique footage.
